Reading the Trend

  • CCP trading volumes have varied sharply across the six-year period, increasing from just under 1.9 million shares in 2021 to a record 5.3 million shares in 2025.
  • The 2025 result was heavily influenced by block trades during November and December. Those two months accounted for approximately 3.95 million shares, or around 75% of the year’s total turnover.
  • Excluding the November and December concentration, CCP’s underlying monthly activity has generally remained in the tens to low hundreds of thousands of shares, broadly consistent with trading patterns recorded from 2021 to 2024.
  • Trading activity remained comparatively strong during the first half of 2026. January-to-June turnover of 1,433,293 shares already exceeded the full-year totals recorded in both 2023 and 2024.
